Animal print, paisley, floral, chevron, houndstooth, plaid, stripes, whatever prints make you happy, don't be afraid to mix them.
Some follow the rule of thumb of sticking to the same color palettes. So for example, the top could be green stripes button shirt underneath a plaid blazer with a floral midi skirt.
Others follow the rule of doing smaller patterns or prints on the top and bigger and larger ones for the bottom half of your body.
You can also wear print on the lower half and a solid color on the top.
